FREDERICTON – A Liberal candidate vying for a seat in New Brunswick’s upcoming election is ringing alarm bells about Blaine Higgs’s ties to social conservative Jason Kenney — issues the Tory chief is dismissing as overblown.
Former instructor and present Liberal candidate Brent Mazerolle says he needs to know if Higgs helps a few of the socially conservative views expressed by the chief of Alberta’s United Conservative Get together, who’s anti-abortion however has mentioned he will not legislate on his beliefs.
