The universities, college and both school boards in Waterloo region have been closed for Tuesday due to the expected winter storm conditions.

The closures include all school buses, taxis and special education routes operated by the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and Waterloo Region District School Board, according to Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region.

Wilfrid Laurier has cancelled all classes at locations including Brantford, Kitchener, Toronto and Waterloo.
